Checking valve clearance

Every 1000 operating hours.
Checking / adjusting valve clea-
rance
Checking the valve clearance must be
done with a cold engine, that is an engine
which did not run for at least 6 hours.

Remove distribution cover
Remove the 5 bolts of the distribution
cover.
Note: There are two TDC's e.g. compres-
sion and suction. At the TDC at the end
of the compression stroke the rocker arm

Remove rocker cover
Remove the 3 bolts of the rocker cover.
Complete the following steps:
does not move when the crank pulley is
rotated a little.
