Electrical hazards:

Hazards:
- By direct or indirect contact with life parts (i.e. parts conducting electricity) when removing electrical
equipment covers, or by damaged insulation.
- Electrical shock by touching damaged parts of the electrical equipment, particularly while manipulating a
long extension power cord.
- Electrical shock caused by unsuitable positioning of the extension power cord's plug/socket connection in a
place where it can be mechanically damaged or in a wet place, e.g. wet grass, puddles after rain, etc.
- Electrical shock caused by the failure to abide by the instructions for connecting the machine to power
mains, as set forth by sub-clauses 5.3 and 6.1 of this User's Guide.
- Disabling the protection against electrical shock by using an unsuitable, very long extension power cord
with small wire cross-sections, resulting in a high impedance of the circuit breaking loop's protective wire.

Hygiene and health hazards:

Hazard of damaging the hearing organs by the generated noise above 85 dB (L
the machine running under normal work conditions has been determined by measurements as L
dB. When working with the crusher, the operator must wear ear protectors!

Description of the machine

5.1

Work places

Work places are places at either side of the machine where the operator stands. When cleaning and
maintaining the machine, adequate free space must available around the entire machine.
5.2

Mechanical parts

The machine comprises of the following major parts,
the position of which is shown in Figure 1 and which are described
in the following sections of this User's Guide. Components
which are in contact with the material being crushed are made of
stainless steel used in food industry. Components not made of
stainless steel are painted.
