Spectrum 6. Installation Instructions 6.1. Prerequisites The softener needs to be installed onto the mains water supply. Piping has to comply with the regulations of the country where it is installed. Your softener will require space for maintenance and operation. Please allow enough room on the top to remove the valve should it be needed.
