About M-GO: M-GO is a pay-as-you-go, digital entertainment service
that offers a wide selection of movies and TV shows, including the newest
releases. You can create an account on M-GO for free, and our favorite
part of this channel is that you won't be suddenly served with a subscription
or late fees – you just pay for movies and TV shows you want to watch, as
you go.
The channel is built right into the Roku device making buying movies
and TV shows very convenient. On top of that, all M-GO transactions are
handled through your Roku account, which makes the purchases very
simple.
The prices and selection don't differ too much from Amazon Instant
Video (rentals are about $5, while buying movies is about $16), but the
navigation is much better, offering granular genre categories and reviews
straight from RottenTomatoes. Once you rent a title, you typically have 30
days to start watching it.
Tip: Roku app, Plex app and YouTube app can cast to your Roku.
What that means is that you'll be able to playback the videos from your
phone or your tablet directly on your big screen. It takes around 30 seconds
for the app to trigger the media on your TV.
