Before using your refrigerator, you should wipe it inside and outside with lukewarm water containing a mild detergent. From time to time, the PVC-seal of the lid should be rubbed with a little talcum powder.

This is important for satisfactory operation of the cooling unit The absorption cooling unit is cooled by convection and it is therefore vitally important that the air circulates freely over the unit and that the air vent openings of the refrigerator are always kept open.
