Watch the flame, not the knob, as you
increase or reduce heat.
The flame size on a gas burner should match
the cookware you are using.
FOR SAFE HANDLING OF COOKWARE,
NEVER LET THE FLAME EXTEND UP THE
SIDES OF THE COOKWARE. Any flame
larger than the bottom of the cookware will
not result in faster heating and could be
hazardous.
Do not use an after-market stove top grill on
your gas surface burners. A stove top grill will
cause incomplete combustion resulting in carbon
monoxide levels above allowable standards. This
could be hazardous to your health.

Stainless Steel Gas Cooktops
For surface stability, 6" minimum diameter
cookware is recommended. Use larger
diameter cookware for heat setting.
