- Page 4 OPERATION Always use the correct supply voltage! The voltage of the power source must be the same as the value given on the rating plate of the unit. Units designed for 230V can also be operated with 220V. SWITCHING ON/OFF & SETTING THE AIRFLOW TEMPERATURE Ensure that the Hot Air Gun is switched OFF (O) before connecting it to the power supply or when attaching any nozzles to it!
- Page 5 OPERATION REMOVING THE HEAT GUARD SLEEVE CAUTION - Be careful of the hot nozzle! There is an increased danger of burning when working without the heat guard. For working in especially narrow places, the Heat Guard can be removed. 1. To remove or mount the heat guard, the unit must be in the "OFF" position and be allowed to cool down until cold.
- Page 6 WORKING EXAMPLES Temperature settings given in the application examples All application examples (except B) can be performed are suggested values that depending on the material without accessories. However, the use of the characteristics, can deviate. The distance between the recommended accessory parts simplify the work and nozzle and work piece is dependent on the material to significantly improve the quality of the results.
