The time elapsed since the recording began and the current time are
alternately displayed in this row - this will continue until recording
has stopped.

Ending log recording

To end the recording, keep the S5
button pressed down in altimeter
mode until the message "LOG OFF"
appears in the bottom row of the
display.

Display of the elapsed time
since the beginning of the hike: In the first hour, the
elapsed time in minutes and seconds is shown, afterwards
in hours and minutes.

Recording to the log ends automatically after 24 hours
(time-out) or when the watch is put into energy-saving
mode.
