OPERATION
POSITIVE 0° BEVEL STOP
See Figure 22.
The saw has a positive 0° bevel stop that has been factory
adjusted to assure 0° angle of the saw blade when making
90° cuts.
TO CHECK
 Remove the battery pack from the saw.
WARNING:
Failure to remove battery pack from saw could
result in accidental starting, causing possible
serious personal injury.
 Place the saw in an upside down position on a
workbench.
 Using a carpenter's square, check the squareness of the
saw blade to the base of the saw.
TO ADJUST
 Remove the battery pack from the saw.
 Loosen the bevel adjustment knob.
 Loosen the hex nut securing the adjustment screw.
 Turn the screw and adjust the base until it is square with
the saw blade.
 Tighten the hex nut and bevel adjustment knob
securely.
WARNING:
Attempting to make cuts without the bevel
adjustment knob securely tightened can result in
serious injury.
