NOTE: You can adjust the contrast on the screen when you have the
reverse video feature on. See the Features for People with Low Vision
section later in this manual.
Backlight
To select Backlight, press Tab twice or use the arrow keys to highlight
the Backlight icon on the Main Settings Menu and press Enter. As
mentioned before, the backlight is the
light behind the screen. You can
change the brightness level, or you
can set your UbiDuo so that the
backlight is never on. The default
setting for the backlight is On.
To change the backlight to always be off when you use your UbiDuo,
press Tab or use the right arrow key to highlight Off, and press Enter.
You will return to the Main Settings Menu. Now, whenever you turn on
your UbiDuo, the backlight will be off. You will have to manually turn on
the backlight by pressing End in the top right-hand corner of the
keyboard any time you want it on.
Time/Date
To select Time/Date, press Tab three
times or use the arrow keys to highlight
the Time/Date icon on the Main Settings
Menu and press Enter. The first time
you turn on your UbiDuo, you will have
to set the time and date.

Enter the current time in the Time field.
The format is shown to the right
(hh:mm:ss:AM). Type PM if you are
setting the time after noon.
Press Tab to move to the Date field.
