Setting up Email

Note: If you do not have a Vodafone branded handset you will need to have created an
Internet profile, (see the "Setting up Internet" guide) before following this guide.
1. From the idle screen press the menu key
2. Scroll to and select email
3. Scroll to Accounts
4. Stay on New Account and press Add
5. At your name enter your name e.g. john smith
6. Scroll to email address and enter your account email address
and press continue
7. Remain on username and enter the account username e.g. john.smith
8. Scroll to password and enter the account password and press continue
9. You will now get a pop up message, select no
10. Scroll to pop3 or imap4 depending on your email providers server type and press
continue
11. At pop3/imap4 server enter your email account providers incoming server address
12. Scroll to SMTP server and enter your outgoing mail server address and press continue
13. Select no to "download new mail?" message
14. Press Back
15. Scroll down to and select Settings
16. Scroll to the POP3 or IMAP4 tab
17. Scroll down to and select Connect Using
18. Press select to Connect Using
19. Scroll to and select the Internet profile you previously created or for vodafone handsets
select the embedded Contract / PAYT internet account.
20. Press Back
21. Press Yes to "Changes Made - Save?" message
