To test AC volts with the Mastech MS8230B multimeter:

1. Turn the Dial – Set the rotary switch to the AC voltage (ACV) range.
2. Insert Test Leads – Plug the black test lead into the "COM" jack and the red test lead into the "V" jack.
3. Connect to Circuit – Touch the probe tips to the AC voltage source (e.g., an outlet or live circuit).
4. Read the Display – The screen will show the measured AC voltage.
5. Remove Leads Safely – After measurement, remove the probes carefully and turn off the multimeter.

Ensure the selected range is appropriate for the expected voltage to get an accurate reading.
