    Location and building in The cabinet should be placed in a room which is dry and sufficiently ventilated. To operate efficiently it should not be positioned in direct sunlight or near warm appliances. Please note that optimal cabinet performance is obtained at an ambient temperature between +16°C and +32°C. In environments with both high temperature and high air humidity, the appliance is approved in climate class 4+.

    If necessary, please contact your local distributor or Arctiko for information on wiring location. Cable entries through the cabinet wall should be equipped with a lead-through tube and kit. Such kits are available through local distributors.

    Important! Applies to cabinets with glass door and/or drawers: Anti-topple brackets must be installed to avoid the cabinet toppling over when opening the door. The brackets which are delivered with the cabinet must be fastened to the wall behind the cabinet, as shown in the drawings.

    Connection to electricity The cabinet is intended for connection to alternating current. The connection voltage (V) and frequency (Hz) are shown on the name plate in the cabinet . Power connection is made by a three pin plug to a wall socket. Any requirement for earthing from the local power supply must be met.

    Starting up (PC-Board MPC 46) Code/parameter setting Temperature s etting Display Defrosting Keylock Start/s top Plug in the cabinet To start, press the START/STOP key. When starting up the display will first show the software version of the cabinet followed by the program variant.

    Setting the temperature emperature adjustments are done by holding the button and pressing either Confirm the settings by letting go of the buttons. Lighting inside the cabinet - Only applicable to cabinets with glass doors - The settings for the lighting inside the cabinet can be turned off by pressing and holding for 3 seconds.

    Alarms Door alarm The upper alarm limits, (LHL) is or has been activated Alarm codes The lower alarm limits, (LLL) alarm is or has been activated The low-temperature protection alarm is or has been activated Cancelling an acoustic alarm Cancelling a door alarm: [A1] flashes in the display. Press to cancel.

    Defrosting Refrigerator Defrosting is automatically performed 4 times every 24 hours, by circulating the air inside the cabinet during compressor standstill periods. The defrost LED lights to indicate the defrosting cycle is running. Freezer Defrosting is automatically performed 4 times every 24 hours, by a heating element mounted at the evaporator.

    Reversing the door The door can be changed from righthand-hinged to lefthand-hinged, or vice versa. To do so, proceed as follows: Models with solid door: 1. Switch off the power at the mains socket. 2. Dismantle the two screws that hold the control panel at front and back, pull the panel a little forward, and then tilt it upwards.
  • Page 12 The condenser fan air outlet above the compressor must be free of leaves, paper etc. to ensure normal operation of the cabinet. Cleansing agents containing chlorine or compounds of chlorine as well as other corrosive means, must not be used, as they might cause corrosion to the stainless panels of the cabinet and the evaporator system.
