    If unsuccessful, remove the grounding lug by unscrewing the two fasteners and re- attach it from the rear of the cabinet/rack once the chassis is in place.     DC power supplies (optional for AC power) and connected to earth ground for proper safety grounding of the chassis enclosure. The grounding lug can be positioned horizontally (parallel with the chassis’ side) or vertically (pointing toward the top-cover of the chassis). Both possibilities are shown below.     The manufacturing site checks for the presence of these conditions when the unit is built and ensures they are not occurring when the MS2900 platform is prepared for shipment. If any of these problems or other unexpected conditions are encountered, contact Kontron Support for assistance to diagnose/resolve the issue and continue working with the system.
