• For optimum performance and safety, please read these instructions carefully before connecting, operating or
adjusting this product. Please keep this manual for future reference.
• To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose any part of this device to rain or moisture.
• This product is for indoor use only
• The unit should not be exposed to direct sunlight, very high or low temperature, moisture, vibrations or
dusty environments.
• Do not place the product in enclosed bookcases or racks without proper ventilation.
• Do not use abrasives, benzene, thinner or other solvents to clean the surface of the unit. To clean, disconnect
the unit from the mains, wipe with a clean soft cloth and add a mild detergent solution if necessary.
• Do not disassemble any of the units in this kit they contain no user serviceable parts. Refer servicing to qualified
personnel only.
• Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords as this can result in the risk of fire or electrical shock.
• SURGE PROTECTION DEVICE RECOMMENDED: This product contains sensitive electrical components that may
be damaged by electrical spikes, surges, electric shock, lightning strikes, etc. Use of surge protection systems is
highly recommended in order to protect and extend the life of your equipment.
Introduction
This kit includes all you need to send HD content to up to 8 displays and control 4 HD sources. The matrix has 8
HDMI outputs and each HDMI output is mirrored with an RJ45/HDBT output which runs simultaneously to send
HD content over single CAT5e/6 cables as far as 70m at 4k Ultra HD resolution. It works with Blu-Ray players,
Set-Top boxes, Home Theater PCs, and game consoles that connect to an HDMI display. Any source is accessible at
all times by any display by selecting it via the supplied IR Remote Control, RS232, TCP/IP or by using the selection
buttons on the front panel. This device supports High Definition Audio, and 3D signal compatibility.

• Supports resolutions from VGA~WUXGA and HD resolutions from 480i~1080p~4Kx2K@60 dependent
upon the EDID settings
• Support video formats up to 4k2k@30Hz with 24bit RGB/YCBCR 4:4:4/YCBCR 4:2:2 and up to 4k2k@60Hz with
12bit YCBCR 4:2:0
• Supports transmission distances up to 70m over CAT5e/6/7 cable
• Remote receivers powered by the matrix via POE
• Matrix AC powered no external DC power supplies required
• Supports wideband IR matrix system, IR transport channels are bi-directional and support GLOBAL IR input
and output
• Supports RS-232, remote control, on-panel control and TCP/IP control
• Smart EDID management allows precise integration of sources and displays
• Supports Digital Audio and stereo audio outputs
