Remington power load strips are available in three power levels – green (level
3), yellow (level 4) and red (level 5). Green is lowest power level, red is highest
power level. Always start with the lowest power level (green-level 3) and
increase until a proper fastening is made (See page 13 "Selecting Power
Fasteners and Power Loads"). IMPORTANT: Purple (level 6) power load
strips will not function in model 493 tool.

Never carry fasteners or other hard objects in the same pocket or container with
power load strips.

A color blind person must take extra precautions to prevent the chance of
mixing the power load strips of various levels.
