OPERATION
4. Subwoofer Output – Full range right and left channel output for connecting a powered
subwoofer. May also be used to connect to an additional amplifier.
5. Right & Left Channel Tube Fuse – If no audio output and output tubes do not light up,
check this fuse for replacement. The replacement tube fuse is a ½ amp fast blow large
fuse.
6. Power Cord Connection – Plug power cord into this connection, then into your AC socket.

BREAK-IN PERIOD

The tubes, capacitors and output transformers take approximately 100 hours of music playing to fully settle
in for peak performance. The SLI-100 will sound good from the start and after the first couple of hours you
will notice increased depth and tighter bass. This break-in period defies all engineering theory, but is true
with high performance vacuum tube audio amplifiers.

BIAS MEASUREMENT

The bias is factory preset. It is a good idea to measure it during the initial setup to make sure it is set to
the specifications provided at the end of this manual. The AC voltage may be different from one area to
the next. Follow the instructions provided. You will need a meter that allows you to read up to 100mA.
WARNING
MAKE SURE AMPLIFIER IS UNPLUGGED FROM AC MAINS BEFORE
SERVICING.
