5. Move the safety shutter back so that the shutter locks the connector in place.
Tighten the lock screw.
6. Whenever a connector is opened, the plastic dust covers must be placed on both
ends. SeeFigure 2- 1. Typical fiber connections are shown in
Figure 2- 2.

NETWatch Site Controller

Harmonic's NETWatch Site Controller element management system can be used to monitor
and control the HOA 7000 series optical amplifiers, either remotely or locally. For information
on configuring and using this system consult the NETWatch Site Controller Instruction
