· It is recommened for beginners to have a second person on-hand while learning to balance on the board. A second person provides support when getting on and off the balance board · Do not attempt to exercise alone unless you are comfortable on the balance board. - Page 5 Exercise 2 - Lunge Make a large lunge on the balance board. To do this, place your right leg on the center of the balance board. The knee of the leg in front should thereby not be out in front of the toes.

Stand with both feet on the balance board, keeping your knees slightly bent. Now try to cause the balance board to rotate by moving your upper body slightly back and forth. The edges of the board should not touch the floor during this exercise, the board should be in a balanced position. -
