SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION
DESCRIPTION
When troubles are suspected in the ma1n 1nput devices or output devices, check for the cause with the SST.
Failures of individual input and output devices are indicated and retrieved from the control unit as malfunc-
tion code numbers.
Note
The control unit constantly checks for malfunction of the input devices. It checks for malfunc-
tion of output devices only during a 3-second period after the ignition switch has been turned
ON while the test connector is grounded.
