2 Using your fingernails,
grasp the sides of the
battery as shown, and
pull it upward.

New batteries
are not fully
charged. Plug
the battery
charger into your
phone and an electrical outlet. Your phone might take
several seconds to start charging the battery.
If your phone is charging while powered off, it displays
Charge Complete when finished charging.
If your phone is charging while powered on, it displays
a temporary charge complete message, and the
battery symbol stops flashing, when finished charging.
Note: When you charge the battery with the flip open,
the phone's screen may be dark. To turn the screen
back on, briefly press the Power/End key
Tip: Relax, you can't overcharge your battery. You can
safely leave the charger connected to the phone after
charging is finished. This will not damage the battery.
Note: When you charge the battery, the battery level
indicator in the upper right corner of the screen shows
charging progress. At least one segment of the
battery level indicator must be visible for you to use all
phone functions during charging.
