Caribratlion Procedure (Performance Check)-'DM 505
6. Check Ohms
Accuracy
a.
Connect the resistance standard to the VOLTS/Rl
and LOW
connectors.
b. Press the kf2 pushbutton. Make each measurement
in
thefollowing
tablewith the HI
!2-LO R button in the LO
(in) and
the
HI (out) positions.
c. CHECK-that the display reads within the limits for
the ambient tern perature as listed in Table 4 4 .
d.
Remove all
connections to the DM 505.
7. Check PC Current Accuracy
a.
Connect the current calibrator output through a
coaxial cable and necessary adapters t o t he mA and LOW
connectors. Connect the
d c voltage
caPibrator output
through a coaxial cable and adapters to the current
calibrator input.
b. Press the rnA DC button and set the DM 505 range
buttons and current source output as listed in Table 4-5.
c. CHECK-that the display reads within the limitsfor
the ambient temperature as listed in Table
4-5.
d. Set the dc current source to
0
A and disconnect it
from the DM 505.
