Electrical System Operation
Auxiliary Diesel Generator (Optional)
The auxiliary diesel generator (1) is located
below the coach floor behind second door on
driver's side.
The diesel generator control panel (2) is located
in the two door wardrobe.
NOTICE
Before
operating the
generator, refer to the diesel generator
operator's
manual
Information Kit.
Starting the Auxiliary Diesel Generator
1. Depress red "Display ON" button (3) to
waken the generator set display screen (5)
and start the fuel pump to prime the system
(fuel pump will only run for 5 minutes if
generator doesn't start).
2. Depress the start button (4) until the diesel
generator engine starts running, then
release the button. The display screen will
show "GEN OFF" until the engine starts.
3. Allow the diesel generator engine to settle
and run smoothly before operating any
electrical appliances.
4. Become familiar with the output capacity
and capability of your diesel generator.
5. Be careful not to overload the diesel
generator. Refer to the diesel generator
manual
located
Information Kit for further details.
Stopping the Auxiliary Diesel Generator
Depress the red "Gen OFF" button (3) to stop
the generator.
Warning
Press the stop switch (6) to stop the generator
set or to prevent it from starting while performing
maintenance and/or service. To allow the
generator set to run, press the switch again.

NOTICE
Overloading the generator for long periods
of time can cause the generator windings to
overheat. Keep electrical loads within the
recommended wattage ratings.
Caution
Do not smoke while refueling. Keep flames,
sparks, and smoking materials away from
fuel or flammable fumes.

NOTICE
This is NOT a start switch. The generator
set can only be started using the remote
control panel inside the RV.
