Safety warnings and precautions IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE Important warning: DO NOT REMOVE GROUND PRONG DO NOT USE AN ADAPTOR DO NOT USE WITH AN EXTENSION CORD Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire or electrical shock. Before you move your freezer into its final location, it is important to make sure you have the proper electrical connection. Gas warning: Caution: risk of fire! Due to the flammable refrigerant (R600a) and/or the flammable insulation blowing gas used, this gas is natural gas with high environmental compatibility that is, however, also combustible. When transporting and installing the appliance, care should be taken to ensure that no parts of the refrigerating circuit are damaged. Refrigerant and/or insulation blowing gas squirting/leaking out of the pipes or body of appliance could ignite or cause an eye injury. If leak is detected, avoid any naked flames or potential sources of ignition and air the room in which the appliance is standing for several minutes. Servicing and repair of R600a refrigerant shall be done by qualified service technicians. Do not damage the refrigerant circuit. Food storage advices General advices Before placing food items in the freezer, wrap them carefully. This prevents food odor and taste transfer throughout freezer. Also let enough space at the front so the door can close tightly. Keep the seal clean and soft in order to don’t lose cold air. If there is some power interruption, please don not open the doors in order to keep inside the cold air. Frozen food storage The freezer compartment is designed for storing frozen food and for freezing food at home. After defrost, never freeze another time the food. Maintenance and cleaning Defrost Important: Do not use knives or metal objects to defrost To defrost partially the freezer compartment, you can remove the frost with a scraper (provided with the appliance). If the frost thickness is more that 10 mm, you need to do a fully defrost. Please follow the below process to do it: 1. Remove all foods, ice cube tray and shelf of the freezer and freezer compartment ( store them in other cold place) 2. Turn the thermostat knob to OFF and leave the freezer door opened. 3. Clean and wipe out the melted frost with a cloth. 4. After defrosting, turn the thermostat knob to origin position.
