Afte r confirming tha t the monitor's powe r s witch is
on, you s hould che ck the conne ctions to ma ke
s ure tha t the powe r cord/a da ptor is firmly
conne cte d to the monitor a nd to a working powe r
outle t.
Try a djus ting the contra s t a nd brightne s s controls
on the e xte rna l monitor.
P re s s the function ke y in orde r to cha nge the
dis pla y priority a nd e ns ure tha t it is not s e t for the
inte rna l dis pla y only.
Che ck to s e e if the e xte rna l monitor is conne cte d.
Whe n the e xte rna l monitor is s e t a s the prima ry
dis pla y de vice in e xte nde d de s ktop mode , it will not
dis pla y whe n the compute r wa ke s up from S le e p
Mode if the e xte rna l monitor ha s be e n
dis conne cte d while in S le e p Mode .
To ke e p this from ha ppe ning, do not dis conne ct
the e xte rna l monitor while the compute r is in S le e p
or Hibe rna tion Mode .
Re me mbe r to turn off the compute r be fore
dis conne cting the e xte rna l monitor.

the time r, the dis pla y pa ne l or the e xte rna l monitor
