Note: To be accurate, an estimation of the level
of exposure to vibration experienced during a giv-
en period of work should also take into account
the times when the tool is switched off and when
it is running but not actually doing the job. This
may significantly reduce the exposure level over
the total working period.

Dust/Chip Extraction

Before any work on the machine itself, pull
the mains plug.
Avoid touching or breathing-in dusts that are
harmful to one's health or carcinogenic. Al-
ways use suitable dust extraction, work in
well ventilated areas and wear appropriate
protective equipment. When disposing of
dusts, pay attention that you or other per-
sons do not come into contact with these
dusts. Dusts dangerous to one's health devel-
op, e.g., when sanding lead-containing coat-
ings, chemically treated woods or some met-
als.

in the figure).
Grasp the dust box 6 by the recessed grip, fold
the filter element 15 upward and empty the dust
box. Clean the thin plates of the filter element 15
with a soft brush.
External Dust Extraction (see figure B)
Slide the extraction adapter 16 onto the outlet

extraction
adapter
adapter 16 accepts a vacuum hose with a diame-

For removal of the extraction adapter 16, press
the latching levers together at the rear and pull
the extraction adapter off.
The vacuum cleaner must be suitable for the ma-
terial being worked.
When vacuuming dry dust that is especially detri-

vacuum cleaner.
Replacing the Sanding Sheet
Before any work on the machine itself, pull
the mains plug.
When attaching a new sanding sheet, remove any
dust or debris from the sanding plate 9 (e. g. with
a brush).
To ensure optimum dust extraction, pay atten-
tion that the punched holes in the sanding sheet
match with the holes in the sanding plate.
