9. Push the upper edge of the palm rest downward slightly (1) , while lifting up the lower edge of the palm rest
and pulling the upper case towards you (2) to remove it from the lower case.
10. If a tool for removing connectors is included in the package with the new card, use it to disconnect the
cables from the card. If no such tool is included, disconnect the cables from the card by picking up the
connectors with your fingers and gently unplugging them.
11. Press on the release latch (1) to release the card (2) . Then remove the card.
12. Align the contact edge of the PCI Express Mini Card with the corresponding socket contact of the computer.
13. Pivot the card until you can snap it into place by pressing the upper side of the connectors; then press the
latch to hold it in place.
Make sure that the card is firmly fixed in the slot and does not move easily.
