OUTDOOR UNIT Error Method:
Coil (expansion valve ) Error
Detective Actuators:
EEV Coil
Main PCB
Forecast of Cause:
1. EEV coil loose connection
3. Defective EEV coil
Test 1 : Check the connection of EEV connector
Check if the connector is loose connection or not.
OK
Test 2 : Check the EEV wire
Check if the wire of EEV has damage or not.
(Slash, Braking of wire, Pinching, etc.)
OK
Test 3 : Check the EEV Coil
Check if the circuit of EEV coil winding is good or not.
(Refer to the service parts information 3)
OK
Test 4 : Check the output of EEV on the Main PCB
Check if the DC12V is on between the Pin No.1 of CN111-115 and GND Pin.
(Disconnect the wire of EEV when you check the output of EEV)
OK
Test 5 : Noise, momentary open, voltage drop
Check if temporary voltage drop was not generated.
Check if momentary open was not generated.
Check if ground is connection correctly or there are no related cables near the power line.
Indicate of Display:
Indoor Unit
Operation lamp : 9 time Flash
Timer lamp : 10 time Flash
ERROR CODE : [E : 9A]
Detective details:
Coil (Expansion valve) driver circuit open detected.
2. EEV wires cut or pinched.
4. Main PCB (DC12V) output abnormal
