HEADLIGHT, HIGH BEAM
AND EMERGENCY FLASH-
ER INDICATOR LIGHTS AND
HORN
a ) Check that the turn signal indicator lights
on the instrument panel illuminate when
the turn signal lever is moved up or
down.
1 Right turn
2 Left turn
Move and hold the lever part way to

signal a lane change (Right)
Move and hold the lever part way to
4
signal a lane change (Left)

b ) Check that the headlight indicator light il-
luminates when the headlights are on.
1 The side marker, parking, tail, license
plate and instrument panel lights turn
on.
2 The headlights and all lights listed
above turn on.
3
The headlights and all lights listed
above turn on and off automatically.
(When the engine switch is in "IG-ON"

NOTE:
Headlights automatically turn off about
30 seconds after the key is removed and
the driver's door is opened and closed.
c ) Check operation of the automatic light
control function.
d ) Check that the high beam indicator light
illuminates when the high beams are on.
1 With the headlights on, push the lever
forward to turn on the high beams.

Pull the lever toward you to turn on the
high beams.
