OPERATION
The H8932/H8936 Network Display provides local indication of power system
parameters from Veris devices. To report critical alarm data the H8932/H8936
is equipped with a digital alarm input and local alarm annunciation.
All system variables and alarms can be passed to the network operations
center by means of Modbus RTU protocol. In the event that the network
operations center is not yet established, the data can be uploaded to a Palm
Pilot through the IR communications port located on the front of the display.

Communications Wiring The H8932/H8936 resides on a Modbus network as a pass-through device. Unlike most Modbus RTU devices it is not wired in a daisy chain configuration. Instead make an upstream and downstream communication connection. This allows for flexible data retrieval as the upstream options include RS232, RS485, or Palm Handheld compatible IR.
