ADJUSTING THE SELECT LEVER CONTROL CABLE
AND SHIFT ROD
f. Check that locknuts 3 are tightened cor-
rectly.
g. If the operation of the select lever is incor-
rect, adjust the select lever control cable 4
with the adjuster 5.
Select lever shift rod:
a. Make sure the select lever is in NEUTRAL.
b. Loosen both locknuts 1.
c. Adjust the shift rod length for smooth and
correct shifting.
d. Tighten the locknuts 1 to specification.
