While playing back the messages,
(playback) and the number of the cur-
rent messages flash on the display. For
example, if you have a total of four mes-
sages (one old, three new), pressing

If there are no messages when you

the TAD announces "You have no mes-
sages."
Notes:
• If the TAD detects a busy signal for
more than 5 seconds or silence for
more than 8 seconds while record-
ing a message, it stops recording
and releases the call.
• When you play back messages
using handset, the message num-
ber does not appear on the display.
