    This chapter presents the features and functions of ImPact Wireless Access Point (WAP) and shows how it is integrated within a network. Mine Site Technologies' ImPact WAP is an 802.11 b/g/n wireless access point. It is used in conjunction with the ImPact Wireless Network Switch, providing a wireless network for surface and hard rock mining environments.
