C) Instructions for connecting PT Ethernet cables
SP28 is not equipped with HUB. Following the steps below, connect PT Ethernet cables.
1) Stand-alone

Preparations for Installation

. Connect the cable indicating CROSS, to
CN1 of CPU board: SCMYEX.

. Connect a PT Ethernet cable to CNRI
located at the right end of the machine.

. Connect the cable indicating CROSS, to
CN1 of CPU board: SCMYEX.

. Connect the connector CNLI located at
the left side of the downstream machine
with the connector CNRI located at the
right side of SP28.

. Connect the cable indicating STRAIGHT,
to CN1 of CPU board: SCMYEX.

. Connect the connector CNRI located at
the right side of the downstream ma-
chine with the connector CNLI located at
the left side of SP28.
