Set up synchronization with Microsoft Outlook
Stay in touch with other workers by wirelessly synchronizing your device with your
Microsoft Outlook corporate account from any location in your mobile operator's service
area. You can synchronize E-mail, tasks, contacts, and calendar.
Note: Your organization must use Microsoft Exchange Server to manage E-mail, and
Microsoft Outlook must be installed on your computer.
1. Tap
>ActiveSync.
2. Tap Menu> Add Server Source.
3. Enter your E-mail address and then tap Next.
4. Enter the user name and network password, and the name of the domain to which
your computer is connected. If necessary, ask your network administrator for the
name of the domain.
5. Select Save password check box, and then tap Next.
6. Enter the server address, and tap Next.
7. Select E-mail and any other data you want to synchronize with Exchange Server,
and then tap Finish.
Set up synchronization with an Internet E-mail account
An Internet E-mail account is an account that you access on the Internet through an
Internet service provider such as Yahoo! Mail. If you already have an E-mail account
with an ISP or a mobile operator, set up E-mail synchronization between your device
and that account by using this procedure.
Note: Your device must have an Internet connection before you can perform this procedure.
1. Tap
>Programs >Messaging>Setup E-mail.
2. Enter your E-mail address and password, select Save password, and then tap Next.
3. Do one of the following:
If Auto Setup finds settings for your E-mail provider immediately, go to step 4.
If Auto Setup does not find settings immediately for your E-mail provider, go to
step 6.
