9.1 File Explorer
File Explorer provides many easy-to-use features for file and folder management.
Start File Explorer
Tap
>Programs> File Explorer.
File Explorer displays the entire file structure in your phone's memory. The functions
focus primarily on folder management.
In File Explorer, tap the arrow on the left corner to select the location of the files you
want to view or manage:
My Device: Display the contents in the root folder of the phone.

Storage Card: Display the contents in the root folder of the storage card, (only
•
appear when the storage card is available).
The File Explorer menu contains the following options:
Go to: Open My Documents, My Device, Folders, or open another new path.

Refresh: Refresh the current folder.
•
Show All Files: Show all files of the current folder.
•
Sort By: Open a menu where you can choose to sort the files or folders by Name,
•
Date, Size or Type.
Send: Send the selected file through one of the messaging methods. For example, if
•
you want to send a file as an E-mail attachment.
1. Select a file and tap Menu > Send... in File Explorer (the file will be attached to
the new message automatically).
2. Select an E-mail account on the Messaging screen.
3. Specify the recipient and subject, and type your message.
4. Tap Send.
Note: You can also send the file via MMS by selecting MMS (Messages) from the
