The 4th interface (X4) is used to connect to a PROFIBUS network. When you use the
interface as PROFIBUS DP interface, the CPU is the DP master in this case. The
CPU cannot assume the role of a DP slave.
With OPC UA, data is exchanged via an open and vendor-neutral communication
protocol. The CPU, as OPC UA server, can communicate with OPC UA clients such
as HMI panels, SCADA systems, etc.
