Store the manual in a safe place for later reference. The flash symbol displayed in a triangle warns the user of dangerous electrical voltages inside the device that could lead to electrical shocks with harmful effects to health if the device is used incorrectly.

Refer to the drawing and remove the empty battery receptacle. Insert the battery into the receptacle. Make sure the polarity matches the marks inside the component.
