    Theft Deterrent System This system is designed to help protect your vehicle from theft. ■ Engine immobilizer This system only allows the engine to start if a reg- istered key is used. This deters theft caused by the use of unautho- rized keys.

    Seat Position Memory System With the push and hold of a button, you can adjust the seat to a set customized position. The steering column and outside rear view mirrors are adjusted along with the driver’ s seat. Positions can be conveniently recorded for drivers and frequent passengers. ■...

    ■ Angle adjustment Move forward and backward. Seat Belts ■ Seat belt guides To use the seat belt guide, detach the hook, let the seat belt run under the guide and then reattach the hook. ■ Rear seat belt holders Hold the rear seat belt with the holder when not in use.

    Outside Rear View Mirrors ■ Adjustment Use the master switch to select which mirror to adjust (L or R). Adjust the angle using the control switch. Auto tilt: Move the master switch to “L” or “R”, Mirrors automatically tilt down when shifting into reverse. To deactivate, move the master switch to middle position.

    Steering Column ■ Raising and lowering Down ■ Adjusting forward/back Away from the driver Toward the driver When then key is removed, the steering column moves to provide easy exit and entry. When the key is inserted, the steering column returns to its previously set position.

    Starting ■ Starting the engine Make sure the parking brake is engaged and the shift lever is in “P”. Depress the brake pedal. Turn the engine switch to START. The engine will start. ■ Stopping the engine Depress the brake pedal and move the shift lever to “P”. Turn the engine switch to OFF.

    Parking Brake ■ Setting the parking brake Firmly depress the parking brake pedal. ■ Releasing the parking brake Pull the lever. Turn Signal Lever Left turn Right turn Lane changes can be signaled by moving and holding the lever partway.

    TRAC/VSC Off Mode This switch turns off the traction control system or the vehicle stability control system. Use this switch if the wheels get stuck in snow, mud, etc. To turn off TRAC: Push the VSC OFF switch briefly. The slip indicator light will come on. To turn off VSC: Push and hold the VSC OFF switch for 3 seconds when the vehicle is not mov- ing.
  • Page 19 ■ Setting the speed Press the “ON-OFF” button The system will turn on. Push the lever down while traveling at the desired speed This sets the vehicle at that speed. ■ Canceling Pull the lever to temporarily cancel the preset speed.

    Trip Information Display The following information concerning your vehicle is displayed. ■ Display information Trip information • Available driving distance • Average fuel consumption • Average vehicle speed ■ Changing trip information display The display changes each time the “TRIP INFO” button is pressed.

Pull and hold the lever to temporarily activate the high beams.

    Retractable Hardtop ■ Opening and Closing Hold down the switch. Pull up the switch. The indicator remains on while the retractable hardtop is operating. When the retractable hardtop is fully opened or closed, the indicator goes off and a beep sounds.
