In order to use an RF RCU with the IP805-M, you must first pair the RCU with the IP850-M. The pairing process enables the IP805-M and the RCU to discover each other so that the RCU may transmit commands to the paired IP805-M. -

HDMI output provides video and audio, so no separate audio connections are required if you plan to use your TV’s speakers as the primary audio source. Note: ARRIS recommends certified standard HDMI cables for 1080i or 720p resolutions. A certified high speed HDMI cable is recommended for resolutions of 1080p. -

On-Screen Graphics On-Screen Graphics Your IP805-M can generate graphics that overlay the video programming or fill the entire television screen. Common examples include on-screen menus (such as the User Setting menu), closed captions, and interactive program guides. The set-top overlays these graphics whenever you open a menu, enable closed captions, or scroll through a program grid. -

Install new batteries if needed. • If you are using an RF remote control with your IP805-M, please ensure that the remote control has been properly paired with the IP805-M.
