Symptoms
• No picture appears on the external
monitor at all.
• The edges of the picture are missing
on the screen.
• The playback pictures cannot be
shown correctly.
• Disc cannot be played back.
• Noise is generated.
• A longer readout time is required.
• Tracks cannot be played back as you
have intended them to play.
• Elapsed playing time is not correct.
• Correct characters are not
displayed (e.g. album name).
• Disc cannot be played back.
• "No Disc" appears on the monitor.
• "No Magazine" appears on the
monitor.
• "Reset08" appears on the monitor.
• "Reset01" – "Reset07" appears on the
monitor.
• The CD changer does not work at all.
Remedies/Causes
• Connect the video cord correctly.
• Select a correct input on the monitor.
• Select an aspect other than "Zoom". (See page
33)
• Select "4:3LB [LETTER BOX]". (See page 34.)
The color system (NTSC/PAL) is not correct. Set
it correctly (see page 33).
• Use a disc with tracks recorded in the compliant
format. (See page 4.)
• Add the extension code <.mp3>, <.wma> or
<.wav> to their file names.
Skip to another track or change the disc. (Do
not add the extension code <.mp3>, <.wma> or
<.wav> to files of different types.)
Do not use too many hierarchies and folders.
Playback order is determined when the files are
recorded.
This sometimes occurs during play. This is
caused by how the tracks are recorded on the
disc.
This receiver can only display alphabets
(A – Z, a – z), numbers, and a limited number of
symbols.
• Use a disc with JPEG/MPEG files recorded in
the compliant format. (See page 4.)
• Add the extension code <.jpg> or <.mpg> to
their file names.
• Insert a disc into the magazine.
• Insert disc correctly.
Insert the magazine.
Connect this receiver and the CD changer
correctly and press the reset button of the CD
changer.
Press the reset button of the CD changer.
Reset the receiver (see page 2).
