Taking a photo
1. Access the Camera menu to turn on the camera
and switch the display to Camera mode. You can
also press and hold [
2. Make any desired adjustments.
• Press <Options> to access camera options.

• Press [Up] or [Down] to zoom in or out. This
feature is not available for the maximum image
resolution.

Using camera options in Camera mode
In Camera mode, press <Options> to access the
following options:
• Flash: determine the use of the flash.
• Self-Timer: set a time delay before the camera
takes a photo.
• Fun Tools..: apply a decorative frame or change
the colour tone.
• Controls..: adjust the brightness or white
balance.
• Settings..: change the default settings for taking
a photo.
Resolution: select an image resolution.
Quality: select an image quality setting.
Shutter Sound: select the sound that you hear
when you press the shutter release.
View Mode: select the preview mode.
Status Bar: hide or display the camera icons on
the screen.
