Connecting an External Display

You can connect any of the following external displays to your computer, port
replicator, or docking station:
Computer display (monitor)
Projector
To connect a computer display
1 Turn off the computer before you connect the computer display.
2 Locate the VGA (Monitor)
3 Plug the display cable (not supplied) into the VGA (Monitor) port.
4 Verify that the power cord is plugged into the computer display and an AC
outlet.
5 Turn on all external devices before turning on the computer.

You cannot use the monitor port on your computer when the docking station is
connected to the computer; however, you can use the monitor port on the docking
station.
