Installing the parcel net
Open cargo compartment floor ;

( page 300), raise by approximately 45° and

remove to the rear.
Place cargo compartment floor ; on a clean

surface.
Stretch parcel net : over cargo compart-
X
ment floor ; as shown.
Make sure that:
parcel net : is aligned with the center of

cargo compartment floor ;
rubber band = is below mountings ?
R
tab A is facing forward
R
Slide cargo compartment floor ; horizon-
X
tally into the cargo compartment until mount-
ings ? are positioned in guides E on both
sides.
Raise cargo compartment floor ; by approx-
X
imately 45° so that mountings ? engage
audibly.
Make sure that:
rubber band C is below clasp B. The rubber
R
band must not block the clasp.
rubber band = is below base D.
R
Fold cargo compartment floor ; down and
X
press down until it engages.

General notes
The cargo compartment plug-in module allows
you to use your cargo compartment for a variety
of purposes.
The following accessory parts are located under
the cargo compartment floor:
a telescopic rod

two mounting elements

two brackets
R
Important safety notes

WARNING
If you drive when the cargo compartment floor
is open, objects could be flung around, thus
striking vehicle occupants. There is a risk of
injury, particularly in the event of sudden
braking or a sudden change in direction.
Always close the cargo compartment floor
before a journey.
