Underwater Mode

You can take a picture or record video also in the water. Your phone is immersible in water for
up to 30 minutes at a depth not exceeding two meters (about 6.56 f).
Avoid using phone in saltwater. It is highly corrosive and can damage internal

phone in fresh water immediately after using it underwater and dry it following the

1. Camera mode will change automatically to Underwater Mode when your phone detects
it is underwater.

2. In Underwater Mode, the following physical keys are used instead of touch screen icons.
Camera key to take a picture.
PTT/Programmable key to start/stop recording a video.
Speaker key to open or close the menu screen.
Volume key up/down to zoom in/out or scroll through the options.
Warning:
Before immersing your phone in the water, make sure all ports and covers are
properly seated, with no foreign objects obstructing the seals, to maintain the
waterproof capability. The phone should never be used under water with broken
or open SIM/microSD slot cover.
Camera and Camcorder Settings
You can adjust the settings of your camera and camcorder by tapping MENU on the viewfinder
screen. Some options are available for the back camera or camcorder only.
Auto: Takes a picture using the recommended settings.
Manual: Customizes settings for taking photos and videos.
Mode: Select from Effect, Panorama, Underwater, Slow motion, Time Lapse, Night,
or Sports.
Effect: Adds an effect to the picture.
Panorama: Takes a panorama picture as you pan the phone sideways.
