    5.3.2. SHUTTER Selects AUTO, Manual of Flickerless. If SHUTTER is set to MANUAL, SENS-UP mode is inactivated. 5.3.2.1. AUTO Optimizes the video level by controlling the iris and the shutter speed automatically. • DEBLUR: The shutter is set to fixed values to remove any appearance of blur. •...

    5.4. BACKLIGHT When there is a strong backlight behind the object, clear images of the background as well as the object can still be obtained by using the BACKLIGHT function. 5.4.1. HLC (High Light Compensation) HLC (High Light Compensation): This function is used to suppress or mask a strong light source (for example, headlights of cars during nighttime) so that other subjects can be seen in more detail.

    5.4.3. WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) The WDR function works to correct excessive light within the frame to produce a usable image. When the image has simultaneous bright and dark areas, it makes both areas distinct. Video outputs image processed from two images by dual shutter (long and short shutter) in a field to provide the best dynamic range.

    5.5. DAY & NIGHT DAY/NIGHT is used to control the setting during day-time and night-time operation. Select the mode according to the light condition. 5.5.1. EXTERN (Not supported) DAY or NIGHT is determined by the built-in light photo sensor. 5.5.2. AUTO Used when DAY or NIGHT is determined by light level through the lens and DAY from/to NIGHT is switched automatically by the scene brightness.

    5.5.3. COLOR (Default: COLOR) The camera is always in COLOR mode. DAY/NIGHT is disabled and outputs color video. 5.5.4. B/W The camera is always in B/W mode. 5.5.4.1. SMART IR OFF (Available only with a built-in LED model) 5.5.4.2. ANTI-SAT. NOT USED (Available only if the SMART IR is ON in LED models) 5.6.

    5.7. 3D-NR (Digital Noise Reduction) DNR function improves picture quality by filtering out signal noise which is generated under the low light conditions. Settings are: off, low, middle or high level. 3DNR (3-dimensional noise reduction) which reduces noise. It is effective at low light. High level setting has the greatest noise reduction but loss of sharpness may occur.

    5.8.5. ACE (D-WDR, Works in both CVBS and HD-SDI) This function illuminates darker areas of an image while retaining the same light level for brighter areas to even out the overall brightness of images with high contrast between bright and dark areas.

    Please set ANALOG OUT0 to AHD MODE, TVI MODE or CVI MODE if CVBS video is necessary through sub-out port. * AHD, TVI and CVI not available on current model (24RS2.0XW-EXSDI). If ANALOG OUT0 is set to CVBS, there is no CVBS video through sub-out port, on OSD PCB.

    5.10.2. RESOLUTION Select the video resolution 1080p / 720p 1080p (1920x1080) video has frame rates of 25fps/30fps. 720p (1280x720) video has frame rates of 25fps/30fps / 50fps/60fps. 5.10.3. TV SYSTEM Selects HDTV standards for analog video output switches to 60HZ, US (NTSC) or 50HZ, EU (PAL) accordingly.
