Installing the redundant power supply

To install the G7000 redundant power supply in a standard equipment rack, complete the following steps:
Step 1.
Locate and record the product information to register your product and set aside. See Before
installing the redundant power supply.
Step 2.
Remove the cover screws from the switch.
Step 3.
Use the M4 screws to attach a mounting bracket to each side of the unit. Torque the screws to
approximately 1.13 newton-meters (Nm) (10 inch-pounds).
Step 4.
Slide the redundant power supply into the rack.
Step 5.
Use the M6 screws, washers, and clip nuts (or cage nuts) to secure the unit to the rack. Torque the
screws to approximately 3.5 Nm (30 inch-pounds).
