Congratulations on your purchase of the Memorex Portable Bluetooth

CD Boombox!
The MP3441, with built-in Bluetooth
®
v2.1 + EDR Wireless Technology, makes it easy
to take your tunes anywhere. Choose from a variety of music sources, including CD/
MP3/WMA formatted Discs, FM Stereo Radio, and wireless streaming from Bluetooth-
enabled devices. Please follow these operational instructions carefully. Save them for
future reference.
POWER SUPPLY
Before first use, check that the rated voltage of the unit matches your local voltage.

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
Follow these precautions when using batteries in this device:
1. Warning – Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
2. Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
3. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery compartment. A reversed battery
may cause damage to the device.
4. Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline, Rechargeable and Carbon-zinc) or old batteries with fresh ones.
5. If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from possible battery
leakage.
6. Do not try to recharge a battery not intended to be recharged; it can overheat and rupture. (Follow battery manufacturer's
directions.)
7. Remove batteries promptly if consumed.
8. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.

BLUETOOTH OPERATION
1. Press the POWER

to Bluetooth, "BT" will apear in the Display.

3. On your Bluetooth-enabled device, select Bluetooth in Settings and search for
"MRX-MP3441."
4. The Bluetooth Blue LED Indicator will flash during pairing and remain steady when
successfully paired.
5. Select and play music from Bluetooth-enabled device.
Note: When turned on and in Bluetooth source mode, the boombox will automatically
try to connect to the most recently played paired device, when available. If connection
is lost after successful pairing, check to make sure the distance between speaker and
Bluetooth- enabled device does not exceed 30 ft/10 m.
CD PLAYER OPERATION
1. Press the POWER

to CD/MP3/WMA Disc Mode.

Note: If the CD skips or will not play, the disc may need to be cleaned. Wipe the disc
with a clean cloth. Keep CD lens clean from dust and fingerprints.

LISTENING TO THE RADIO
1. Press the POWER

(AM or FM, or FM Stereo).

4. For better FM reception, extend and adjust telescoping antenna. For better AM
reception, rotate the unit as it has an internal AM antenna.
5. Tune to a station, adjust sound using volume control and enjoy!

WHERE TO PLACE ITEM
Today's furniture is coated with a wide variety of lacquers and synthetic coatings that
are treated with an extensive range of cleaning products. Therefore, the possibility
that some of these substances contain components that react adversely to the
rubber feet of the item and soften them, cannot be completely excluded. The rubber
feet of the appliance can cause discoloring to furniture surfaces. If necessary, place
the appliance on a non-slide surface.
MAINTAINING YOUR SYSTEM FOR CONTINUED ENJOYMENT
• When not in use, turn unit off.
• Keep the unit away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
• Clean durable rubberized exterior with a damp soft cloth.
• CLEANING THE CD LENS: If the CD lens is dusty, clean it with a brush-blower.
Blow several times on the lens and remove the dust with the brush. Finger prints
may be removed with a cotton swab moistened with alcohol.
• CLEANING THE UNIT: Do not use volatile chemicals on this unit. Clean by lightly
wiping with a soft cloth.
• If an abnormal display indication or an operating problem occurs, disconnect the
AC power cord and remove the batteries. Wait at least 5 seconds, then reconnect
the AC power cord or reinstall the batteries.
