    This unit is designed to operate on AC household current or DC (batteries). Use the AC polarized line cord included with the unit for operation on AC power. Insert one end of the AC line cord into the AC power jack on the rear of the unit and the other end (with the 2 blades) into a conve- niently located AC outlet having 120V, 60Hz.

    LISTENING TO THE RADIO Slide the FUNCTION switch to the RADIO position to turn the unit on and select radio. Rotate the TUNING control to select a station. To turn the radio off, slide the FUNC- TION switch to the POWER OFF posi- tion.

    OPERATION (CONTINUED) TO PLAY A CD Slide the FUNCTION switch 1 to the CD position to turn the unit on and select CD. Open the CD compartment door by pressing the CD Door OPEN button 2. Place a CD on the center spindle, with the printed label side facing up.

  • Page 12 OPERATION (CONTINUED) TO PROGRAM THE MEMORY (UP TO 30 TRACKS) With the power on and the unit in the Stop mode, press the PROG button; “PRG” and “01” will blink in the display. Press the PROG button again; the selected track has now been pro- grammed and counted as program 1.
