Removing a SIMM

To remove a SIMM, follow these steps:

Installing a DIMM

To install a DIMM, follow these steps:

Press the holding clips on both sides of the SIMM
outward to release it.

Tilt the SIMM to a 45° angle.

Pull the SIMM up and out of the socket.

Installing Memory
Insert the DIMM vertically into the
socket. (DIMMs can fit into the slot
only one way.)
Push down on the DIMM to seat it,
and then raise the plastic clips at
either side to lock it in place.
